Generally, hairstylists undergo training to wash hair prior to any additional services. I prefer having my hair washed by my stylist because I trust that she will do a better job washing it.

Due to “coming with my hair already washed”, caused my hair tremendous damage also allowing different stylist to do my hair. But of course you can always start over with healthy tresses and that’s exactly what I’m doing with our Empress Divine Hydration Conditioner

Many stylists, particularly braiders who may not be licensed cosmetologists, may not have the setup for shampooing, or they may want to avoid the extra time in the chair.

If you are requested, to come with hair washed, dried, and properly detangled it’s to maximize the efficiency of the appointment. So don’t feel worried or exhausted……

Note: Always check with your specific stylist or braider, as some prefer to wash the hair themselves to guarantee a proper starting canvas.
